I had made poor decisions as a high schooler and wanted to fix the mistakes I made.
Michigan-native, Ali, decided he wanted to turn his life around by pursuing his GED credential.
“I had made poor decisions as a high schooler and after many years I wanted to better myself and try to fix the mistakes I made."
Ali entered a program named Jubilee Jobs, a company that focuses on workforce development and people move forward with their education. He studied by taking GED Ready practice tests and he attended night classes.
“I had an amazing teacher who made getting my GED possible. Without her, it would have taken me a lot longer to earn it.”
Now that Ali has earned his diploma he plans to enroll into tech school and hopes to land a job in information technology afterward.
